Internet facing SP site

Recently I was working on SharePoint Migration from 2010 to 2013 and was looking for a an efficient architecture. I wanted to minimize the farms, you actually don’t need multiple farms in most cases. And also I wanted to minimize the number of  web front ends. I am not dealing with a whole lot of load and service applications. All these things are highly scalable incase you need to expand.

The portal I am working needed to be accessed from outside the network. I came across the architecture  in the below link and it does solve the issues I am trying to resolve.

Here is how I implemented this architecture

First thing to do is to start with Kerberos. The site should work with kerberos authentication.

continuation soon
